What is the most interesting thing about working for Bellway, and about the work you do?

Being able to talk to people of many trades and learn from them all. Learning about how Bellway has grown from a family business. Being able to watch the full end to end process of finding land to people moving in.

What are three benefits you’ve discovered about working here that you weren’t aware of when you started?

One of the benefits of working for Bellway is the extensive experience of my co-workers have to enable me to learn and grow from them. The biggest benefit for me personally is that Bellway is supporting me through a Civil Engineering degree whilst working full time.

What advice would you give a job seeker who’s thinking about applying for a role with us?

Your CV should truly reflect yourself. Engage with the business (if you are a young person get some work experience). Understand your own strengths and weaknesses.

If you were a Bellway house type what would you be and why?

I’d be a Watchmaker because the ground floor is large and open plan which makes it very family orientated. Also I think a Watchmaker is much like an engineer as it has many individual pieces that go together to make it work. The Watchmaker is also one of the bigger house types and I believe that you’ve got to back yourself, aim high and give it your all.
